This is our album, Trucking. It was written and recorded over basically one calendar year. The album is all over the place in terms of “writing credits” so we’ll say all songs written by whomever is doing what they are doing on any given song. Sorta. That covers most of it, pretty sure.

Not sure what binds the whole thing together save for Zach and Ike being on all the songs. Nature, loss, whimsy, our ontological vocation. All that stuff is in there, too. The loss thing is a trip. It’s a bummer when people leave you, and we’re sorry for when you’re hurting over that, friends.

This album is for Kelly Mertz, 1975-2019. Long may you run.

This would have been right at home coming out on Touch & Go in 1994. A great sound I don't hear much anymore: great rhythm section, some angular guitar signatures, nice harmonies. I dig it. PS - three tracks at precisely 3:57 in length. That has to have been purposeful. cavestrummer
